Professional Journey

My career began in television production, where practical filmmaking kindled my passion for visual storytelling. I instantly got hooked when the filmed material went through the hands of the visual effects team.

Learning compositing, the leap to feature films via Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban not only took me to London and Wellington (for King Kong) but taught me the value of collaborative craftsmanship – first in supporting roles, then gradually leading teams.

Since 2007, I’ve evolved through Compositing, DFX, and Visual Effects Supervisor roles, carrying forward one constant: Whether as a wing man or lead, I operate with composure under pressure and deep respect for every contributor’s craft.

Now based in Munich, I focus on creating working environments where calm leadership and technical rigor elevate teams to produce their most convincing work – because extraordinary visuals emerge from collective excellence, not individual genius.

What remains: A photographer’s eye for authenticity, ensuring every effect honors the scene’s emotional truth.
